ROSPHOTO and Production company "Masterskaya Seance" present exhibition within the framework of the project dedicated to the modern Russian cinema community.

The exhibition presents 20 photo portraits created by Nikita Pavlov for the "Seance" magazine within the framework of the project dedicated to the modern Russian cinema community. Nikita Pavlov isn't following a common tradition of iconic portrait or cover shot, but instead is applying more of a documental approach when making portraits of cultural heroes. His intention is to capture a "point of reality" - a moment when a person in front of the camera isn't pretending to be anyone else, but himself.

Nikita Pavlov was born in Moscow in 1982. Since 2002 has been doing photography professionally. In 2004 became a member of the "Improvisation" art group. Since 2006 - a member of the editorial board for the "Seance" magazine. At the present time is studying in Musrara - the Naggar School of Photography, Media and New Music (Jerusalem). His solo exhibitions were presented by the Brown Stripe gallery (Moscow), Hermitage Garden (Moscow), Valley of the Cross (Jerusalem). In the beginning of 2009 his photographs were published in the book "Actors of the current. First episode" (joint project of the publishing house "Amphora" and "Seance" magazine).
