ROSPHOTO presents the workshop of famous Icelandic fashion photographer Ari Magg.

The State Russian Centre of Photography presents the workshop of famous Icelandic fashion photographer Ari Magg. The workshop contains theoretical and practical parts and is meant for photographers who work with digital technique. The lectures are dedicated to the main methods of work in the field of commercial photograph - lightning, casting and post production.

Ari Magg was born in Iceland, and like most people who work in the visual arts, he is influenced by his roots. His style and vision are a reflection of the unique environment in the North Atlantic. He was only 19 when he started his professional career in photography, having learned the technical skills of the trade from his father, who is also a photographer. His obvious talents were quickly noticed and for the last seven years he has been the leading advertising photographer in Iceland. Ari has worked with artists and musicians such as Sigurros and Bjork, and these experiments in the lively Icelandic arts scene have been a constant source of inspiration in his commercial work. Professionally, he has often worked in close collaboration with agencies to create a unique vision for clients. They include Vodafone, Iceland Telecom, Iceland National Bank, William Grant & Sons, 66 North and Icelandair. Ari owns and runs his studio in downtown Reykjavik.

At the end of the workshop all students will get certificates of participation.

Conditions:

Number of students: 10-15 persons

Cost of the workshop: 5 000 rubles

You can register for the workshop and make prepayment (2500 rubles) in the State Russian Centre of Photography only until September 11, 2009.

To take part in the workshop one should have digital camera (necessarily) and laptop (preferably).
