Photography exhibition in the framework of ROSPHOTO's Nordic Autumn project. Supported by the Nordic Culture Fund.
Nordic Autumn is ROSPHOTO's project presented in the framework of the Nordic Look festival, the annual project of the Nordic Council of Ministers Information Board, organized in St.-Petersburg. Nordic Look is aimed to introduce to the Russian audience newest trends in fashion, design and art photography and to enrich connection and collaboration between Russian and Nordic professionals working in the sphere of fashion.
As a part of the project, ROSPHOTO plans to display in its spaces personal exhibition of Ari Magg, one of the leading Icelandic photographers, along with a show dedicated to the history of Finnish fashion photography lent by the Finnish Museum of Photography in Helsinki.

The exhibition has been provided by the Finnish Museum of Photography in Helsinki. Exhibition curator and the author of the accompanying book Immortalising Fashion, Merja Salo, used the images from the collections of the Finnish Museum Administration, Stockmann Museum, archives of world known Finnish design brands: Silo, Kestilä, Vuokko and Marimekko, Helsingin Sanomat magazine and private collections.
The exhibition includes images by more than forty authors including such names as Caj Bremer, Ulla Finnilä, Emmi Fock, Kira Gluschkoff, Matti Hietala, Ari Lyijynen, Sebastian Nurmi, Max Petrelius, Sigurd Rasmussen, Seppo Saves, Börje Söderholm, J. Tenhovaara.
