Swedish artists Annica Karlsson Rixon and Anna Viola Hallberg been working together since 2004, first time will show their works in Russia. They will present the recent projects “Resonance” 2006 and “State of Mind” 2008.

In the first Anna and Annika, exploring the space of contemporary art in Europe and Scandinavia and have interviewed women artists and curators, among them such well-known representatives of Scandinavian art scene, as Annika von Hausvulf and Maria Lind. This is a group portrait of those who are "responsible" for contemporary art today.
In the second artist again take the role of social anthropologists and publicists, and provide an exclusive view of a select group leaving in St Petersburg. Both projects are made in an atmosphere of the absolute trust between the artists and interviewers. When coming in dialogue with an artist one can come out or open him up as if at a confession or on a therapist's couch.
People who is living in the situation of the to the brink of dominate social traditions (whether as to say "representatives of non-traditional sexual orientation" or marginal artists) can only find its face in a dialogue with the artist.

Annica Karlsson Rixon received a Master of Fine Art in 1997 from California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, California. Her undergraduate studies got accomplished at the Nordic School of Photography in Stockholm, Sweden 1988. Currently she is participating in the doctorial program at the School of Photography, at the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, University of Gothenburg. Karlsson Rixon held a professor position at the School of Photography, UoG, 2003 - 2007. She has exhibited extensively since the early 1990´s.
Anna Viola Hallberg graduated in 2003 from the Curatorial Program, Stockholm University, Sweden. Hallberg has a B.A in Cinema Studies from Stockholm University and is a graduate of Stockholm film school and a Master of Arts in International Museum Studies, University of Gothenburg, 2008, writing her thesis on contemporary art in museum exhibitions outside the paradigm of the art institution. Hallberg has worked both in avant-garde documentary film as well as in advertising in New York and Sweden.
